The platform

Many sources. One version of the truth.

Fleet data comes from many different places, from suppliers and telematics systems to driver apps and operational records. TDS Ultra brings it all together, creating a single, reliable view of your fleet.

From there, teams can manage operations, uncover insights and take action with confidence.

How data flows

From raw feeds to decisions

Every source enters the same pipeline: ingress, transformation, normalisation, analytics, alerts and API. Whatever sits behind the platform, you receive one normalised data stream. That is the principle the whole product is built on.

API

Four ways data gets in

OEM, device, legacy data or cost feed

01

OEM native API

The highest data quality and the broadest dataset, with no installation. Delivered through the Echoes Neutral Server, an ACEA-standardised intermediary between car manufacturers and fleets.

02

Hardware

Third-party telematics devices for older, non-connected vehicles or specialised sensor use cases, from one supplier or several.

03

Legacy & 3rd party

Already integrated with 200+ telematics and fleet management providers, so switching or consolidating suppliers never means losing history.

04

Fuel, leasing & fines

Fuel card transactions, leasing, rental, fines and inventory feeds, combined with vehicle data for one complete cost picture.

The modules

FAQ

Questions fleet and IT teams ask

What data sources can TDS Ultra ingest?

TDS Ultra ingests data from OEM native APIs, aftermarket telematics hardware, fuel cards, leasing and rental systems, and legacy fleet management providers. Every source is normalised into a single, consistent data model, giving fleet teams one accurate view regardless of vehicle make, hardware brand, or original data format.

Do we have to install hardware?

No, not for connected vehicles. TDS Ultra connects directly through OEM native APIs, so any vehicle with built-in factory connectivity requires no installed hardware at all. For older or non-connected vehicles, a third-party device covers the gap. Most fleets run a hybrid setup, mixing both approaches across the fleet, and even within a single vehicle, without losing a single, consistent data view.

Is TDS Ultra tied to one supplier?

No, TDS Ultra is supplier-agnostic by design. It normalises data from any OEM, telematics provider, or fleet system into one consistent format, so fleets can choose suppliers freely, combine several at once, or switch providers later without losing data continuity or control.

How is data from different suppliers made consistent?

Every data source runs through the same pipeline: ingress, transformation, normalisation, analytics, alerts and API. Whatever supplier produced it, TDS Ultra maps it to the same structure, so a fuel cost, an ignition event, or an odometer reading means exactly the same thing across every vehicle and every provider.

Can we push data into our own BI or ERP tools?

Yes. TDS Ultra exposes an open API that pushes normalised fleet data directly into the systems you already run, whether that's a BI platform, an ERP system, or another internal tool. It's built as a layer that sits on top of your existing stack, not a silo that locks data in.
